Electrical Design Engineer

Brief Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical circuits, systems, and equipment based on project requirements, specifications, and budget.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Select electrical components and materials based on performance, cost, and reliability criteria.
• Analyze project requirements to determine feasibility, performance specifications, and cost.
• Manage energy-related projects, including feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Monitor the progress of energy projects and ensure they meet timelines and budgets.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to minimize energy wastage.

Authority:

• Ensure that electrical systems and components are safe, efficient, and comply with industry regulations and standards.
• Oversee smooth execution of projects without delays or budget overruns.
• Approve and recommend energy-efficient technologies and upgrades for implementation.
• Make decisions on procurement of energy-efficient tools and materials within budget limits.

Accountability:

• Achieve defined energy savings targets and contribute to organizational sustainability goals.
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented energy-saving initiatives.
