Job Summary:
A bakery operations manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a bakery's production, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, managing staff, controlling costs, and coordinating with other departments to maximize profitability, all while adhering to food safety regulations and delivering a consistent high-quality product to customers; key duties include production planning, inventory management, staff scheduling, quality control, and implementing operational improvements.

Experience Requirements:
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in food production/manufacturing.
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to lift, stack and maneuver objects; must tolerate working around ovens; and must be able to work weekends.
- Collaborating with your team and the sales team on new products.
- Excellent leadership ability including, analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills, and strong time management.
- Effective team building skills and the ability to keep your team motivated.
- Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and food safety regulations.
