Position Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for managing container sales, bookings, and shipments, while coordinating with Shipping Lines and Customers to ensure smooth end-to-end operations and reporting.
Experience Requirements:
Areas of Responsibility
- Sales and marketing of containers as well as freight forwarding.
- Coordinating with the Shipping Line Pricing Team for special rate filings, rate linking, and free days linking of shipments.
- After confirming shipments with customers, placing bookings on behalf of customers in the liner portal.
- Coordinating with customers to ensure the timely pick-up of containers within validity.
- Working with the Customer Service team to re-validate bookings and vessel sailing details.
- Coordinating with CFS operations to ensure containers are sound and delivered to customers.
- Ensuring containers are gated in on time through coordination with operations.
- Working with the Customer Service team to ensure containers are loaded on the planned vessel and obtaining SOB confirmations.
- Collaborating with the liner accounts team for invoicing issues, including delays or other invoice-related problems.
- Coordinating with Customer Service/Accounts of the Liner for any delays or penalties (detention, demurrage, storage, late SI, late BL, etc.).
- Coordinating with the trans-shipment desk to ensure the shipment is loaded on the planned vessel from the trans-shipment port.
- Updating daily booking details in the in-house system.
- Providing monthly market updates to the Shipping Line Pricing team.
- Daily reporting of marketing and forwarding container pickup status to the Head Office.
- Monthly sales billing reporting for marketing and all sales.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) – Any Stream

- 2 years and above in a similar role
