Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic for both light and heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the diesel mechanic field, with expertise in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and related components. The role will involve working on a variety of vehicle types, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in heavy-duty diesel vehicles
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on light and heavy vehicles
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and service work
• Inspect and test vehicle systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of diesel engine systems and vehicle components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with both scheduled and emergency repair work
