Litigation Counsel for Listed Company

Key Responsibilities:

1. Litigation Strategy & Execution:

   • Develop and implement litigation strategies aligned with the objectives of the organization.
   • Proactively manage legal risks and assess potential litigation outcomes.

2. Counsel & Representation Management:

   • Identify and engage appropriate senior counsels and legal experts for ongoing litigation.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with external legal teams and advisors.

3. Court Appearances & Advocacy:

   • Represent the organization in legal proceedings before NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, DRAT, and other judicial forums, as needed.
   • Draft and review pleadings, petitions, and other legal submissions.

4. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:

   • Work closely with internal business teams to provide litigation updates and strategic advice.
   • Report directly to the Group General Counsel, ensuring alignment with the organization’s legal and business priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• LLB from a reputed law school.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in litigation, particularly in corporate, insolvency, and financial disputes.
• Strong understanding of IBC, debt recovery laws, and commercial litigation.
• Experience in coordinating with senior counsels and managing high-stakes litigation.
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle complex litigation matters independently.
