Project Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Management

   • Oversee the complete shipbuilding process from concept design to delivery, ensuring adherence to contractual, technical, and budgetary requirements.
   • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to achieve timely delivery.
   • Ensure integration of specifications, regulatory requirements, and client standards throughout the construction phases.

2. Shipyard Supervision & Reporting

   • Monitor day-to-day shipbuilding activities at the shipyards, ensuring construction meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
   • Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits to review progress and adherence to design and engineering specifications.
   • Provide regular reports on project progress, budget status, and potential risks to senior management.

3. Quality Assurance

   • Ensure all aspects of new builds comply with industry standards, including class society requirements.

4. Delivery & Commissioning

   • Manage final delivery, including sea trials, commissioning, and handing over to the client.
   • Ensure all certifications and documents are in place for vessel operation and compliance before delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing new shipbuilding projects.
• Strong knowledge of shipbuilding standards and classification society rules.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
