Maintenance manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and smooth functioning of machines such as elevators, graders, belts, FFS (Form Fill Seal) machines, roasters, dryers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and nitrogen plants.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to machinery, PLCs, electrical drives, sensors, high amp problems, and auto cut-off switches.
• Supervise, coordinate, and lead a team of 5-6 maintenance technicians in daily operations and problem-solving.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports using advanced Excel skills.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Assist in project work related to machine installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
• Proactively plan and schedule preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected machine breakdowns.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in machinery maintenance, particularly in processing or manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of PLC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for maintaining and analyzing maintenance records.
• Experience in handling projects is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
