Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and enhance brand presence within the FMCG or Pharma sector, specifically in business development for Domestic & Exports markets in aerosol-based products, household care products, fragrances, cosmetics, and personal care products. The role involves leading a team of sales and marketing professionals, managing budgets, analyzing market trends, and ensuring successful execution of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Create and manage annual sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Sales Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Establish sales goals, monitor team performance, and provide regular reports on sales metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
Marketing and Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and events.
- Manage brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for creative and promotional activities.
Product Management:
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to ensure market needs are met.
- Effectively launch new products and manage the lifecycle of existing products.
- Analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Customer Insights and Relationship Management:
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and the overall customer experience.
- Develop and implement customer retention programs and loyalty initiatives.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics to measure success.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and market trends to senior management.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience:
- 10-12 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on FMCG or Pharma industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving successful marketing campaigns.
- Experience in managing a team and working with cross-functional departments.
