Job Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager – Sales to lead and drive revenue growth in Rooms, Banquets, and Food & Beverage sales. The ideal candidate should have a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Rooms, Banquets, and F&B.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
  3. Work closely with the sales team to acquire and retain corporate and individual clients.
  4. Drive occupancy rates and banquet bookings through innovative sales techniques.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.

Client Relationship Management:

  1. Handle key corporate accounts and oversee new client acquisition.
  2. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through personalized client engagement.
  3. Manage client negotiations and contract finalization to maximize revenue.
  4. Work in coordination with operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  1. Lead and mentor the sales team, ensuring they meet performance targets.
  2. Conduct regular sales training and development programs.
  3. Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the sales team.
  4. Hold weekly sales meetings to review pipeline, targets, and strategies.

Strategic Planning & Reporting:

  1. Develop short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  2. Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly sales reports and MIS.
  3. Work closely with the General Manager and senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
  4. Ensure effective pricing strategies and revenue management.

Business Development & Networking:

  1. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
  2. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns.
  3. Identify potential partnerships and collaborations to expand market reach.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Strong experience in hotel sales, corporate sales, or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
