Job Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – HR to support the HR department in implementing policies, managing talent acquisition, ensuring compliance, and improving employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong HR knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple HR functions effectively.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, payroll processing, and HR documentation.
- Support the preparation of monthly HR reports and compliance documentation.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Assist in manpower planning and coordination with department heads for hiring needs.
- Conduct employee orientation and induction programs.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR leadership.
- Support in organizing employee engagement activities and training programs.
- Help develop strategies for improving employee retention and satisfaction.
- Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries from employees.
Training & Performance Management:
- Assist in performance appraisal processes and employee feedback sessions.
- Coordinate training programs, career development plans, and skill enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain records of training programs, evaluations, and development progress.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of HR experience in a relevant industry, preferably hospitality.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, recruitment, labor laws, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software, payroll management, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Qualification:
- MBA in Human Resources, PG Diploma in HR, or equivalent qualification.
- Certifications in HR management, labor laws, or employee relations are a plus.
