Job Title: Business Development Manager / VP of Sales
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic sales leader to oversee business development in the architectural glass sector. This role involves leading a team of Business Development Executives, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership within the building materials or facade industry.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Executives to achieve sales goals.
- Set clear sales targets and ensure consistent team performance.
- Conduct training and skill development programs for the team.
2. Strategic Sales Planning
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue in commercial and residential projects.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business plans.
3. Key Account & Client Management
- Manage and expand relationships with architects, facade consultants, and contractors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and strategic partnerships.
4. Sales & Technical Coordination
- Work closely with architects and facade consultants to align project specifications.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery and quality.
5. Negotiations & Pricing
- Lead negotiations for large-scale projects, ensuring profitability.
- Maintain a competitive pricing strategy while optimizing margins.
6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Evaluate team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to refine sales strategies.
7. Payment Collection & Follow-up
- Ensure timely collection of payments for projects, collaborating with the finance team.
8. Site Visits & Networking
- Oversee regular site visits and client meetings.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network in the construction and architectural industries.
9. Travel Requirements
- Regular domestic travel to project sites and client locations in Hyderabad/Bangalore.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in sales or business development in the building materials or architectural glass industry.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role managing a sales team.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and leadership abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other office tools.
- Languages:
- Fluency in English and Hindi (Telugu/Kannada is a plus).
- Additional Requirements:
- Smartphone and a two-wheeler/four-wheeler for travel.
