About the Role
An established global chemical manufacturer is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the expansion of its specialty chemical products—particularly silane-based additives—into the North and South American markets.
This is a high-impact role with significant autonomy and growth potential. You'll be instrumental in building and executing go-to-market strategies, developing relationships with key industry players, and driving revenue growth in targeted segments such as rubber, plastics, adhesives, coatings, composites, and chemical trading.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of silane products in the Americas, focusing on key industries including rubber processing, adhesives, coatings, composite materials, and more.
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders.
Conduct market research, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support market entry and expansion.
Collaborate with the global leadership team on sales strategy, planning, and performance reporting.
Assist in building and developing the regional sales team and support structure.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
Must-Haves
10+ years of sales experience, preferably in specialty chemicals or industrial B2B sectors.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven ability to independently develop and grow a territory or vertical.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; based in the U.S.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience selling silane or silane-related chemical products.
Multilingual abilities (especially Spanish or Portuguese) to support South American outreach.
Background working with international or cross-cultural teams.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $80,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience and network)
Bonus: Structured annually based on performance; not applicable in the first 6 months to 1 year while strategic plans are finalized
