Primary Responsibilities :

Position: Country Sales Head – Agricultural/Horticultural Fertilizer Business
Salary Package:

  • Asian Countries: USD 3,500 – 5,000 per month

  • EU Countries: USD 5,000 – 7,000 per month


Purpose of the Role:

To act as a strategic bridge between customers and the organization in the agriculture and horticulture fertilizer industry. The role involves generating revenue, building a robust client network, and forming strategic partnerships to ensure a sustainable and profitable business.

Key Accountability Areas:

  1. Driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.

  2. Expanding and strengthening the customer base.

  3. Building and nurturing strategic partnerships.

  4. Conducting market intelligence and competitor analysis.

  5. Leading and closing contract negotiations effectively.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall business operations within the assigned country/region in compliance with local laws and corporate policies.

  • Drive strategic planning and execution of business objectives.

  • Identify and acquire new customers; up-sell and cross-sell to existing customers.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.

  • Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and account planning.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business revenue and collection forecasts.

  • Achieve agreed business revenue and collection targets.

  • Ensure timely collections and maintain communication with the accounts department.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with government bodies relevant to the agriculture sector.

  • Maintain comprehensive data on customer-wise sales, collections, and budgets.

  • Conduct market research and track competitor activities, product launches, and opportunities for business expansion.

  • Ensure ethical, professional transactions and maintain brand image and service standards.

  • Submit daily business activity reports to designated authorities.


Candidate Specifications (Must-Have):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Science.

  • 10–15 years of Sales & Marketing experience in the agricultural fertilizer industry.

  • Proven track record in fertilizer sales and business development.

  • Strong skills in sales, customer collections, and revenue generation.

  • Excellent negotiation and client engagement abilities.

  • Practical knowledge of field promotions, product trials, and strategic schemes.

  • Experience with crop nutrients, pest and disease management is highly preferred.

  • Added advantage if familiar with agricultural crop production and maintenance.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a focus on achieving targets and addressing market competition.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
