Position: Senior Business Development Leader

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to spearhead business development and operations in the Gujarat region for a pioneering, sustainable water conservation technology company. This role is critical to driving strategic growth, market expansion, and client engagement across multiple industrial sectors.


Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy & Analysis:
    Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, analyze industry trends, and formulate actionable strategies to penetrate target segments.

  • Sales & Business Development:
    Develop and execute robust sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure with high conversion efficiency.

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Team Building & Leadership:
    Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team. Foster a collaborative and target-driven work culture.

  • Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration:
    Cultivate relationships with key industry stakeholders, influencers, and channel partners to create new business opportunities and strategic alliances.

  • Process Innovation & Optimization:
    Identify and implement improvements in business development practices to enhance operational effectiveness and customer value.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and an MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution.

  • Strong background in B2B sales, particularly in the capital goods or wastewater management sectors.

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably within industries such as Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Power Plants, Integrated Steel Plants, Fertilizers, and Sugar & Distilleries.

  • Deep knowledge of wastewater treatment systems including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), ETP technologies, and sustainability-driven solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
