Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Business Development Manager with proven experience in generating business for IT software services. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker, strong communicator, and a deal-closer, with experience in managing client relationships and leading a team.



Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and acquire new business clients across industries

  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions

  • Engage in lead generation through calls, emails, social media, and face-to-face meetings

  • Negotiate terms and close projects with potential clients

  • Handle direct sales and manage relationships with decision-makers

  • Conduct in-depth market research to pre-empt competition and leverage opportunities

  • Draft business proposals and follow through on sales closures

  • Manage sales pipeline and maintain CRM entries

  • Maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals

  • Lead and mentor junior business development executives, if applicable


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Development in IT Software Services

  • Hands-on experience in lead generation, sales closures, and proposal handling

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build strong client relationships and conduct direct sales

  • Good understanding of IT services, digital marketing, and tech sales cycle

  • Prior experience in handling a sales team is an added advantage

  • Strong negotiation, follow-up, and target-achievement skills

  • Proficient in email communication, social selling, and CRM tools
