QA (Automation) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze specifications and identify detailed test requirements.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases using tools such as Selenium with Java or Python and TestNG.

• Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test data.

• Review test plans and cases with developers, PMs, and QA team members.

• Conduct data validation, test harness scripting, and automated regression testing.

• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and functional specifications.

• Report, track, and manage defects using proper QA tools.

• Collaborate closely with development, project management, and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and resolution of issues.

• Communicate clearly and effectively through written documentation and verbal updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Automation Testing.

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and scripting languages like Java or Python.

• Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Ability to write clean, modular, and reusable automated test scripts.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results.
