Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and manage the accounting operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing all tax-related matters, ensuring statutory compliance, and leading the accounting team.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with Indian accounting standards and principles.
Manage and file all applicable taxes, including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and Company Tax.
Ensure full compliance with Indian accounting laws and regulations.
Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit processes.
Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and maintain a healthy cash flow.
Review and approve journal entries, invoices, payments, payroll, and other transactions.
Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure quality and accuracy of their work.
Provide financial advice and support to management and other departments.
Maintain and continuously improve accounting systems and internal controls.
Identify, research, and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Office Accountant.
Proficient in Tally and MS Office (especially Excel).
Comfortable using Cloud storage platforms like Google Drive or OneDrive.
Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles, laws, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in finalizing accounts up to balance sheet.
Experience in tax filings and handling compliance-related issues.
Strong leadership skills to guide and oversee a team of junior accountants.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
