Reports To: Director of Maintenance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a type rating on Bell 407 helicopters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs while ensuring compliance with aviation safety and regulatory standards.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell 407 helicopters in accordance with approved maintenance programs and OEM guidelines.
Conduct inspections and rectifications to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions, including logbooks and inspection reports.
Collaborate with engineering and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Stay up to date with technical publications, service bulletins, and regulatory updates related to Bell 407.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license with type rating on Bell 407.
Minimum 3 years of certification experience on Bell 407 with current hands-on proficiency.
Additional type rating on Airbus H125 is a plus.
Experience with twin-engine helicopters is advantageous.
Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
