Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and safety-driven Head of Safety to lead our aviation safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the Safety Management System (SMS) and ensuring compliance with all aviation safety regulations.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a robust Safety Management System (SMS) in line with DGCA and international aviation standards.
Ensure organizational compliance with aviation safety regulations and policies.
Conduct risk assessments, incident/accident investigations, and safety audits.
Organize and deliver safety training programs across the organization.
Interface with regulatory authorities and maintain timely reporting of safety metrics and incidents.
Present safety performance reports and improvement plans to the Aviation Operating Board.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Retired pilot with extensive operational experience in aviation.
In-depth understanding of aviation safety regulations and SMS frameworks.
Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
Strong leadership ability to foster a proactive safety culture.
Experience in incident reporting and regulatory liaison.
