Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resort & Restaurant Manager cum Accountant to manage and oversee end-to-end resort and restaurant operations along with financial and accounting responsibilities. The role requires strong operational leadership, guest experience management, cost control, and financial discipline to ensure profitability and high service standards.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

Lead overall resort and restaurant operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Service teams

Ensure exceptional guest experience with a guest-first service approach

Supervise restaurant service standards, hygiene, and operational consistency

Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally with prompt resolution

Maintain SOPs, discipline, service quality, and staff grooming across departments

Financial & Accounting Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, billing, and daily cash management

Handle payroll processing, vendor payments, and expense monitoring

Manage inventory control, food costing, and stock reconciliation

Track revenues and prepare monthly financial reports and MIS

Support budgeting, menu pricing, cost control, and profitability planning

Ensure compliance with financial controls, confidentiality, and ethical practices

Team Management & Leadership

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff across departments

Monitor performance and take corrective actions when required

Promote a positive work culture through ethical leadership and problem-solving

Support operations during peak hours or staff shortages

Sales & Revenue Growth

Drive room occupancy and restaurant revenue through upselling and service excellence

Coordinate promotional activities and pricing strategies with management

Maintain effective vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency

Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of resort and restaurant operations

Good understanding of F&B service, costing, and inventory management

Experience in accounting, cash handling, reconciliation, and MIS reporting

Strong leadership with a guest-focused mindset

High ethical standards and confidentiality in financial matters

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Professional grooming and polished personality

Language Requirements

English & Hindi: Mandatory

Malayalam: Preferred / Added Advantage
