Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Lithium-ion Battery Pack Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing battery pack systems for various applications. The role involves working on cell selection, thermal management, mechanical design, and ensuring safety and performance standards.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

Key Skills

  • Experience in lithium-ion battery pack design
  • Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Understanding of thermal management and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
  • Knowledge of battery safety standards and testing

Preferred Profile

  • Experience in EV, energy storage, or battery manufacturing industry
  • Hands-on experience in prototyping and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Battery Pack Design:

  • Design and develop lithium-ion battery packs based on application requirements
  • Select appropriate cells, modules, and pack configurations
  • Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications

Thermal & Electrical Design:

  • Develop thermal management systems for battery performance and safety
  • Design electrical architecture including BMS integration, wiring, and connectors

Simulation & Testing:

  • Perform simulations for thermal, electrical, and mechanical performance
  • Conduct testing and validation of battery packs

Integration & Development:

  • Work with cross-functional teams for product development and integration
  • Support prototyping and product improvements

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement safety measures
