Job Summary
The Senior HR Officer acts as a strategic HR partner responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with UAE Labor Law, and handling high-volume recruitment for project-based teams. This role requires strong expertise in employee relations, payroll coordination, and workforce management across diverse and site-based environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Strong experience in UAE construction or contracting industry
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- MOHRE systems
- GDRFA / ICP portals
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high-volume hiring and operations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff and site labor
- Coordinate interviews, selection, and hiring processes
- Conduct onboarding and induction programs
- Monitor and manage employee probation periods
2. UAE Labor Law Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law and company policies
- Handle PRO-related activities including:
- Visa processing
- Emirates ID applications
- Labor contracts and renewals
- Coordinate with government authorities when required
3. Employee Relations & Welfare
- Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions
- Ensure smooth handling of employee relations issues
- Oversee welfare initiatives for site-based and diverse workforce
- Maintain a positive and compliant work environment
4. Operations & Payroll
- Oversee attendance tracking and leave management
- Coordinate with finance for accurate payroll processing
- Ensure proper calculation of:
- Overtime
- End-of-service benefits
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
5. Performance Management
- Coordinate performance appraisal cycles
- Support goal setting and performance tracking
- Assist in employee development and improvement plans
- Align performance metrics with project objectives
