About the Role
We are looking for a high-ownership, technically strong Senior O&M Engineer to lead operations across a growing solar portfolio. This role goes beyond routine maintenance — it involves commissioning, performance optimization, team leadership, and multi-site operational control.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 8–10 years of solar O&M experience with leadership exposure.
- Experience managing 10 MW+ solar assets.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, inverters, HT/LT systems, and grid integration.
- Ability to manage multiple sites with structured reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- High ownership and independent working capability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month (all-inclusive).
- Travel: Company-related travel expenses reimbursed.
Role Expectations
Based at primary plant (Trichy/Sivaganga) with regular travel. Accountable for overall performance and uptime across all solar assets.

Key Responsibilities
Commissioning & Project Handover
- Lead commissioning of a 15 MW AC / 19.5 MW DC ground-mounted solar plant.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors to ensure execution quality and timelines.
- Oversee testing, synchronization, and performance validation.
Plant Performance & O&M Leadership
- Own O&M of the primary plant focusing on generation maximization.
- Monitor KPIs like PR, CUF, downtime, and system losses.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Multi-Site Portfolio Management
- Oversee Hosur rooftop, Pondicherry rooftop, and 10 MW ground-mounted plant.
- Establish centralized reporting across sites.
- Conduct periodic audits and performance checks.
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead and mentor technicians across locations.
- Ensure structured reporting and accountability.
- Standardize SOPs across the portfolio.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with TNEB, CEIG, and safety norms.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Drive continuous performance improvement.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage EPC and O&M vendors.
- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution.
