Role Summary

The Sales Manager will drive business growth by identifying and securing opportunities with Korean clients globally, supporting their import/export requirements across international trade lanes. The role focuses on air and ocean freight, customs clearance, domestic transportation, and warehousing. Key responsibilities include new client onboarding, relationship management, business reviews, and receivables management.

 

Requirements

Nationality: Korean nationality with fluency in Korean and English is mandatory.

Experience: 4–12 years in the logistics/freight industry (minimum 3 years specializing in inbound/outbound export).

Proven Performance: Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and business development.

Commercial Acumen: Expertise in Solution Design, Product Portfolios, and Strategic Mindsets.

Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Tender and RFQ Management; ability to adopt new IT systems/processes.

Analytical Skills: Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data.

Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and ability to work in multicultural environments.

Mobility: Willingness to travel PAN India for client meetings.

Package & Terms

Business Development: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with Korean companies requiring freight forwarding and supply chain solutions.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, exporters, and multinational corporations within the Korean business community.

Primary Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Korean-speaking customers, ensuring high service standards and smooth communication.

Service Promotion: Actively promote multimodal services including air/ocean freight, customs clearance, and door-to-door logistics.

Solution Design: Prepare and present competitive quotations, proposals, and service solutions tailored to specific client needs.

Target Achievement: Meet and exceed set sales targets while managing receivables and customer relations.

Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities within the Korean business sector in India.

Internal Collaboration: Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless shipment execution and client satisfaction.

Networking: Attend industry events and Korean business forums to generate leads.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
