We are seeking a high-caliber Pharmaceutical Litigation professional to join our Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice. This role sits at the critical intersection of law, regulatory frameworks, and pharmaceutical science. You will represent elite domestic and multinational clients in high-stakes disputes, focusing on patent infringement, validity challenges, and complex regulatory hurdles.
3. Candidate Profile
Education & Background:
Primary: LL.B. degree from a recognized institution.
Secondary (Strongly Preferred): Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Chemistry.
Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Pharma/IP litigation, ideally within a top-tier law firm or a reputed in-house legal department.
Core Competencies:
Subject Matter Mastery: Strong command over Indian Patent Law, Civil Procedure Code (CPC), and IP litigation practices.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CDSCO regimes and international regulatory frameworks is a significant advantage.
Synthesis: Ability to distill complex scientific data into persuasive legal arguments.
Soft Skills: Exceptional drafting, analytical advocacy, and the ability to manage senior-level stakeholders and clients.

Litigation & Advocacy
Represent clients in pharmaceutical and life sciences litigation, specifically focusing on Patent Infringement and validity disputes.
Appear before High Courts, Tribunals, and Regulatory Authorities; assist Senior Counsel in high-stakes hearings.
Draft and refine pleadings, written submissions, affidavits, and legal opinions with extreme precision and strategic foresight.
Technical & Strategic Research
Conduct deep-dive legal and technical research into patent law, regulatory frameworks, and pharmaceutical jurisprudence.
Collaborate with scientific experts to analyze drug formulations, patent specifications, and clinical/regulatory data.
Develop litigation strategies that balance legal strength with the client’s commercial objectives.
Pre-Litigation & Advisory
Provide strategic advice on risk assessment, enforcement strategies, and dispute avoidance.
Support clients through regulatory hurdles and enforcement actions.
