Primary Responsibilities :
🏗️ Mandate Title: Engineering Manager (High-Rise & Commercial)
Mandate Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 15–20 years in Civil construction, specifically focusing on high-rise buildings, commercial, or industrial projects.
Leadership: Proven experience in directly supervising major construction sites and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Professional engineering certification is required where applicable.
Technical Certification: Must be a Classified Unlimited Floors Engineer.
Technical Knowledge: * Sound knowledge of engineering design and construction codes.
Strong budget management and cost reporting skills.
Expertise in construction scheduling and site management.
Contractual Expertise: Experienced in responding to sub-contractor variance reports and managing claims settlements.
Candidate Profile & Skills
Expertise in the practical application of engineering science and technology.
Ability to break down complex data into actionable insights (data analysis).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for client-facing interactions.
Proven ability to supervise and hold third-party contractors accountable.

Roles & Responsibility
Strategic Planning: Coordinate and develop detailed plans to accomplish engineering goals; direct the integration of technical activities across the project lifecycle.
Problem Solving: Analyze complex information and evaluate results to implement the best technical solutions and resolve site-level bottlenecks.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead coordination between various departments—including Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical—to ensure seamless project execution.
Design & Quality Oversight: Direct, review, and approve product designs and engineering changes. Ensure all work aligns with engineering science and technology principles.
Cost & Material Management: Review and approve material selections and cost estimates; prepare detailed comparison statements for management review.
Stakeholder Management: Present and explain technical proposals, reports, and findings to clients and high-level stakeholders.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain constructive, cooperative working relationships with internal teams and third-party contractors.
