C. OEM Partnership Development

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify OEM opportunities for embedding organizational technologies, platforms, or solutions into partner ecosystems.
  • Structure OEM agreements involving:

Cross-Border & Multi-Geography Partnerships

  • Expand partnership strategy into South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, and other emerging markets.
  • Navigate international regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and carbon market structures.
  • Represent the organization at:
    • Industry forums
    • Impact investment conferences
    • Government and sustainability panels
  • Strengthen organizational visibility and credibility globally.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional Partnership Managers and alliance teams.
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for strategic partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations, governance reviews, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Present partnership pipeline, impact metrics, and commercial performance reports to leadership and board members.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, Alliances, or Ecosystem Development.
  • Strong exposure to sustainability, climate impact, clean energy, agriculture, or rural development sectors.
  • Proven experience in:
    • NGO/MFI/FPO partner qualification
    • Structured due diligence
    • MOU drafting and negotiations
    • Strategic alliance management
  • Strong understanding of ecosystem partnerships and rural distribution networks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing cross-border partnerships across South Asia, South East Asia, or Africa.
  • Existing network within:

    • NABARD ecosystem

  • Exposure to voluntary carbon markets including:
    • Gold Standard

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to drive high-impact partnerships across sustainability, climate impact, rural development, and clean energy ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building alliances from the ground up with NGOs, MFIs, FPOs, cooperatives, CSR foundations, government bodies, and OEM partners.

This role combines strategic growth, ecosystem development, climate impact, and rural community empowerment. The candidate should possess strong relationship-building capabilities, deep understanding of last-mile ecosystems, and proven expertise in MOU execution and OEM partnership structuring.

Core Mandate – NGO, MOU & OEM Partnerships

A. NGO & Ecosystem Partner Identification & Due Diligence

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, map, and qualify NGOs, MFIs, FPOs, cooperatives, and CSR foundation partners based on strategic and mission alignment.
  • Develop and implement structured due diligence frameworks including:
    • Eligibility criteria
    • Field verification protocols
    • Financial and governance assessments
  • Maintain a robust and tiered pipeline of pre-qualified ecosystem partners across sustainability, clean energy, agriculture, and rural livelihood sectors.
  • Collaborate with sector intermediaries and networks to source and validate potential partners.
  • Conduct periodic compliance and performance reviews of active partners and proactively resolve governance or operational gaps.

B. MOU Drafting, Negotiation & Execution

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete MOU lifecycle from term sheet development to execution and onboarding.
  • Draft legally compliant and operationally effective agreements covering:
    • Scope of work
    • Exclusivity terms
    • Data sharing
    • Carbon credit attribution
    • Exit clauses
    • Dispute resolution
  • Create and maintain standardized MOU templates for various partnership models.
  • Manage partnership trackers covering:
    • Renewal timelines
