About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven and highly experienced Business Development Manager to lead and expand Iron Ore sales across China and key global markets.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in iron ore trading, global commodity sales, international market development, and high-volume commercial negotiations. The role requires deep market understanding, strong global networks, and the ability to manage strategic trading relationships across the steel and mining ecosystem.

Optimize profitability, pricing, and commercial margins

Market Intelligence & Pricing Analysis

Monitor and analyze global iron ore benchmarks including:

CFR China

Platts Index

SGX Pricing

Track:

Global demand-supply trends

Freight markets

Commodity pricing movements

Regulatory developments

Provide actionable market insights and trading recommendations

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

Coordinate with logistics and operations teams for:

Vessel scheduling

Shipment planning

Cargo movement

Delivery execution

Ensure smooth execution of international trade operations

Risk Management & Compliance

Manage:

Credit exposure

Contract compliance

Commercial risks

Ensure adherence to international trade and regulatory requirements

Support risk mitigation strategies in volatile commodity markets

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in:

MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

Experience Required

5–20 years of experience in:
