- Experience: 12–15+ years of relevant experience in legal compliance and government liaisoning
- Prior experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong knowledge of environmental and industrial laws
- Excellent liaisoning, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory frameworks simultaneously
- Strong drafting and documentation skills audit handling, and reporting skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Familiarity with state-specific compliance frameworks
- Established network with regulatory authorities
- Hands-on experience dealing with PCB, CGWA, Factory & Boiler, Labour Dept., and FSSAI

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manager with strong expertise in regulatory compliance and government liaisoning. The role involves managing legal matters, ensuring compliance with environmental and industrial regulations, and maintaining effective coordination with key government authorities such as Pollution Control Boards (PCB), Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA), Export Departments, Factory & Boiler Department, Labour Department, Metrology Department, Fire Department, and other regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance & Legal Oversight
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws including environmental, industrial, labor, and export regulations.
- Interpret legal requirements and provide actionable guidance to internal teams.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, notices, and legal documents.
2. Government Liaisoning
- Act as the primary point of contact with government authorities such as:
- Pollution Control Board (PCB)
- Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA)
- Export/Import Departments (DGFT, Customs, etc.)
- Factory & Boiler Department
- Local and State Regulatory Authorities
- Handle approvals, licenses, renewals, and regulatory filings.
- Represent the organization during inspections, hearings, and audits.
3. Licensing & Approvals
- Manage end-to-end processes for obtaining and renewing:
- Environmental clearances
- Consent to Establish (CTE) / Consent to Operate (CTO)
- Factory licenses and boiler certifications
- Groundwater extraction permissions
- Export-related registrations and compliance
4. Risk Management & Advisory
- Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Advise management on changes in laws and their business impact.
5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain proper records of licenses, approvals, and correspondence with authorities.
- Ensure timely renewals and compliance tracking.
