Factory Maintenance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of factory machinery and electrical systems.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain AC/DC motors, motor control centers, switchgear systems, control panels, and motor starters.

Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance activities.

Review electrical drawings and wiring schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.

Attend machine breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions.

Test electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes.

Ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical distribution systems.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of AC/DC medium and high-voltage systems.

Experience in single-phase and three-phase motor maintenance and troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with Siemens and Schneider PLC systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting.

Understanding of PLC programming and logic development.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with sensors, relays, UPS systems, circuit breakers, switches, contactors, and electrical distribution networks.

Ability to independently perform daily, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance activities.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.

Good understanding of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
