Primary Responsibilities :

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop retrofit and modernization opportunities within existing customer installations.
  • Generate new business opportunities through direct client engagement, referrals, consultants, and market research.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve retrofit business targets.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and manage opportunities from lead generation to project closure.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Technical Assessment & Solution Development

  • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments of existing systems and equipment.
  • Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for upgrades, optimization, and energy savings.
  • Recommend retrofit solutions that improve system efficiency, reliability, performance, and lifecycle value.
  • Prepare ROI calculations, energy-saving analyses, and cost-benefit studies for customers.
  • Develop customized technical solutions based on client requirements.

Proposal & Tender Management

  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and retrofit recommendations.
  • Review customer specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Present retrofit solutions and business cases to clients and stakeholders.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, consultants, contractors, builders, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups to identify future retrofit opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineering, service, project management, and operations teams for successful project execution.
  • Support project implementation activities and ensure smooth handover from sales to execution teams.
  • Monitor project progress and address technical or commercial issues when required.

Market Intelligence & Industry Awareness

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on retrofit technologies, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and recommend business growth strategies.

Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and opportunity tracking in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and management presentations.
  • Track key performance indicators and business development activities.
Experience Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Technical Sales, Retrofit Sales, Solution Selling, or Project Sales.
  • Experience in:
