Primary Responsibilities :

Lead and manage daily manufacturing operations within the assigned process area (Worsted Spinning or Weaving).
Monitor production performance and ensure achievement of quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase output, and improve process reliability.
Analyze production data, KPIs, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
Optimize production planning, scheduling, and resource utilization.
Monitor and reduce waste, downtime, rework, and process losses.
Ensure effective inventory management and timely fulfillment of production requirements.
Implement best manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to achieve business objectives.
Support implementation of automation, digital manufacturing tools, AI-based solutions, and process innovations.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build future manufacturing leaders.
Prepare and present production reports, performance analysis, and improvement plans to management.
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

Experience Requirements:

BE/B.Tech in Textile Engineering (Mandatory).
3–10 years of experience in Worsted Spinning or Weaving Manufacturing Operations.
Strong technical knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems.
Proven experience in improving productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data, KPIs, and cost metrics.
Hands-on experience with ERP/SAP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
Understanding of inventory management, production planning, and capacity utilization.
Experience in process optimization, waste reduction, and cost-control initiatives.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams.
Comfortable adopting new technologies, automation systems, AI tools, and digital manufacturing practices.
Age preference: 28–38 years.
Willingness to relocate and work in Nairobi.
