Primary Responsibilities :

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through digital platforms, industrial directories, networking, exhibitions, referrals, and market research.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers within the plastics, packaging, manufacturing, recycling, and industrial sectors.
  • Generate qualified leads through IndiaMART, TradeIndia, website inquiries, social media, and other lead generation channels.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify potential customers and emerging business opportunities.

Sales Management

  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and final order closure.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand technical and commercial requirements.
  • Present machinery solutions and explain technical specifications, production capabilities, and business benefits.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial agreements.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Technical Consultation

  • Understand customer production requirements and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
  • Explain machine specifications, production output, ROI, operational advantages, and technical features.
  • Coordinate with technical and production teams to provide customized solutions.
  • Resolve technical queries and concerns raised by clients.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, decision-makers, plant heads, and business owners.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to improve lead conversion rates.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Generate repeat business and identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities.

Factory Visits & Demonstrations

  • Arrange and coordinate customer visits to manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct machine demonstrations and product presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams during customer visits.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, quotations, negotiations, and customer interactions.
  • Update CRM systems and sales trackers regularly.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports.
  • Track sales performance against targets and report progress to management.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product developments.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights.
  • Recommend strategies to improve market penetration and sales performance.

Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with production, dispatch, finance, and service teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.
  • Coordinate order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support activities.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns.
Experience Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
  • Proven experience in industrial machinery sales, capital equipment sales, manufacturing equipment sales, or related sectors.
  • Experience managing complete sales cycles independently.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and closing high-value deals.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
