Primary Responsibilities :

Business Development

  • Drive business growth for Generics, OTC, and OTX products across the assigned state.
  • Develop and execute state-level sales and market expansion strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.

Channel Development

  • Appoint and manage Super Stockists, C&F agents, and distributors.
  • Build and strengthen retailer and distributor networks.
  • Ensure efficient distribution and product availability across the territory.

Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve state sales and revenue targets.
  • Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Drive sustainable business growth through structured execution.

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and maintain strong trade partnerships.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and partner engagement.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Ensure adherence to Advanced Payment Mode or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC) business model.
  • Maintain financial discipline and operational compliance.
  • Monitor collections and business profitability.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance updates.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Experience Requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

  • 8–15 years of experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, OTC, OTX, or Generics trade.
  • Proven experience managing state-level sales operations.
  • Strong experience in retailer trade and channel development.
