Primary Responsibilities :
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets and customer acquisitions for the gallery
- Manage relationships with customers, visitors, and clients to ensure regular customer visits to the gallery and events
- Grow the customer base
- Provide input on the selection of artworks for exhibitions and events alongside the Gallery Director, based on customer relationships and professional experience
- Follow up with clients, record feedback, and make process improvements
- Address queries on social media and Artsy
- Generate invoices for sales of artworks and books
- Prepare and present PPTs to interested clients
- Capture the details of new visitors and customers in the CRM and maintain real-time tracking of customer interactions and meetings for record-keeping and information exchange

Purpose of Job:
The individual in this role will be responsible for the sale of artworks, managing sales leads, and maintaining professional relationships with clients.

- CMR, inventory, warehouse, detailing departments
Reporting Structure:
- Role directly reports to: Gallery Director
- Working Days: 5 days a week with 2 rotational off
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts such as fine arts or art history
- 5-6 years’ experience in an art gallery or related sales role
- Must have a strong understanding of Indian modern art
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with clients
- Fluency in English essential, other languages an advantage
- Flexibility with working hours if/when required
