Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition:
- Generate new customers through prospecting, networking, and visiting potential clients.
- Focus on converting leads into confirmed export bookings.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Regularly meet customers to understand their business needs and deliver value-added logistics solutions.
Vendor Interaction:
- Liaise with shipping lines for space allocation and rate negotiations.
Experience Requirements:
Desired Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of sales experience in the Logistics/Shipping industry.
Skills:
- Pleasant demeanor with excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Hindi and Gujarati/Marathi is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate persuasively with clients.
- Result-driven, with a strong focus on achieving objectives and meeting sales targets.
Residency:
- Must be a permanent resident of the Western Suburbs of Mumbai.
Availability:
- Must be willing to travel and meet customers/vendors for business development.
Work Timings:
- Monday to Friday: 09:30 AM – 05:30 PM
- Saturday: 09:30 AM – 01:00 PM
