Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Executive – Sales (Outbound Tours: International Holidays) with a strong passion for travel and expertise in international tour operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling FIT/GIT bookings, coordinating with DMCs, hotels, and transport providers, and ensuring customer satisfaction through seamless operations.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Tour Planning:
- Design and customize international tour itineraries and costings.
- Handle the operational aspects of FIT/GIT bookings, including flights, hotels, transfers, and excursions.
- Coordinate directly with DMCs, hotels, transporters, and handling agents for bookings and negotiations.
- Ensure smooth airport transfers and issuance of travel vouchers.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure positive client feedback.
Operations & Team Management:
- Manage end-to-end tour operations efficiently.
- Oversee hotel bookings via online portals and direct vendor negotiations.
- Assist in preparing and managing tour documentation, visa applications, insurance, and air ticketing.
- Maintain MIS reports and monthly sales data.
- Work in rotational shifts when required.
Client & Business Development:
- Provide detailed destination knowledge for international travel, with expertise in Far East, USA, and Europe sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business.
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling travel products.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in outbound travel sales & operations.
- Strong knowledge of international travel destinations, visa processing, and itinerary planning.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and negotiate effectively.
- Hardworking, punctual, and customer-oriented.
- Candidates not from the travel & tourism industry need not apply.
Qualification:
- Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Well-versed in handling domestic, business, and holiday travel for groups & individuals.
