CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings and technical packs for product development.

• Convert hand sketches or design concepts into production-ready CADs.

• Collaborate closely with design, sampling, and merchandising teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with brand direction.

• Digitally apply fabrics, textures, prints, and color variations for realistic product visualization.

• Maintain an organized library of CAD files, styles, and references.

• Assist with visual presentations and marketing decks for internal and client-facing meetings.

• Ensure all CAD outputs are aligned with brand identity, target market trends, and customer expectations.

• Make design revisions based on internal feedback and production constraints.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in CAD design, preferably in fashion, textiles, home décor, or consumer goods.

• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and CAD proficiency.

• Solid understanding of product construction and development processes.

Key Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or CLO 3D.

• Creative Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and develop visually appealing and production-ready designs.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in design specs, measurements, and visual elements.

• Communication: Ability to clearly explain design concepts to cross-functional teams.

• Time Management: Capable of handling multiple design assignments under tight deadlines.

• Adaptability: Open to revisions based on design reviews and production inputs.

Preferred:

• Experience in creating tech packs and 3D CADs.

• Understanding of textiles, trims, and relevant materials.

• Familiarity with international sizing and compliance standards.
